Lenoir-Rhyne's Suddreth Named South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Women's Basketball Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Lenoir-Rhyne forward Madi Suddreth has been named the South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Women's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Feb. 5-11, the League announced today.

Suddreth, a junior from Taylorsville, N.C., led the Bears to victories over Catawba and Mars Hill last week. Against the Catawba Indians, Suddreth poured in 20 points, going 10-for-15 from the field for 66.7 percent, with seven rebounds. She then added six points with two rebounds and two assists in the Bear's win over Mars Hill.

For the week, Suddreth averaged 13 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. So far this season, she leads Lenoir-Rhyne in both points and rebounds, averaging 14.4 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.

This is Suddreth's first Player of the Week selection this year.
