Women's Basketball rolls to first regional final in program history
Salisbury, N.C. —- The 17th-ranked Catawba College women's basketball team advanced to its first regional final in program history Saturday night, rolling to a 75-49 win over Clayton State in the NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Southeast Regional semifinal round at Goodman Gym. The Catawba Indians improve to 27-5 overall, while the Lakers end their season at 19-12.
Wingate falls to Georgia Southwestern in Southeast Regional Semifinals
Salisbury, N.C. —- The second-seeded Wingate University Bulldogs fell to the third-seeded Georgia Southwestern Hurricanes 81-64 on Saturday night in the NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Southeast Regional semifinal round at Goodman Gym. The Wingate Bulldogs end their season at 23-7 while the Hurricanes improve to 25-6.
