Three South Atlantic Conference Teams Present in NCAA Division II Women's Regional Rankings
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The NCAA announced its third week of Division II women's soccer regional rankings on Wednesday (Oct. 31), with three teams representing the SAC in the southeast.
Leading the SAC teams is nationally-ranked Carson-Newman at No. 2 in the region. The Eagles advanced to the semifinals of the SAC tournament as the No. 1 seed with a 4-1 rout of Wingate.
At No. 7 is Lincoln Memorial. The Railsplitters defeated Queens 2-1 in overtime to reach the conference semifinals.
Rounding out the poll at No. 9 is Lenoir-Rhyne. As the third seed in the conference tournament, the Bears topped Tusculum 1-0 to continue their season
On Friday, November 2, the South Atlantic Conference Tournament will continue with the semifinals being held at Manchester Meadows in Rock Hill, S.C.
