Tusculum’s Placido Torres Named Southeast Region Pitcher of the Year

ROCK HILL, S.C. – Tusculum's Placido Torres was named the Southeast Region Pitcher of the Year by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association and the Division II Collegiate Commissioners Association, the organization announced recently. The honor marks the second-straight year that the South Atlantic Conference has a student-athlete earn the award. The NCBWA and D2 CCA also announced their All-Region honorees.
