Catawba and Newberry Move Up in Latest NCBWA National Poll

PEMBROKE, N.C. – The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) released its week four national top-25 poll on Tuesday (March 19) with Catawba ranked No. 11 and Newberry moving up to No. 22.

Catawba moved up the ranking to No. 11 with a record of 23-7 overall and 9-3 in the SAC, while Newberry jumped two spots to No. 22 with a record of 22-7 overall and 8-1 in conference play.

In addition to the NCBWA national poll, the southeast region poll was also released. Catawba earned the No. 2 spot in the region, followed by Newberry at No. 4 and Lincoln Memorial at No. 7.
