Catawba and Newberry Continue to Move Up in Latest NCBWA National Poll

PEMBROKE, N.C. – The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) released its week four national top-25 poll on Tuesday (March 26) with Catawba ranked No. 8 and Newberry moving up to No. 16.

Catawba moved up the ranking to No. 8 with a record of 27-7 overall and 12-3 in the SAC, while Newberry jumped two spots to No. 16 with a record of 27-7 overall and 11-1 in conference play.

In addition to the NCBWA national poll, the southeast region poll was also released. Catawba earned the No. 2 spot in the region, followed by Newberry at No. 3, Lincoln Memorial at No. 7 and Wingate No. 8.
