Newberry, Catawba and Lincoln Memorial Baseball Ranked in Latest National Polls

PEMBROKE, N.C. – The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) released national top-25 poll on Tuesday (April 9) and the Collegiate Baseball Newpaper released its national top-30 poll on Monday (April 8). Newberry is ranked No. 7 in the NCBWA poll and No. 15 in the Collegiate Baseball poll, while Catawba is No. 15 in the NCBWA poll and No. 3 in the Collegiate Baseball poll and Lincoln Memorial is No. 28 in the Collegiate Baseball poll.

Newberry enters the week with a record of 33-9 overall and 16-2 in conference play. Catawba has a record of 33-9 overall and is 17-4 in the SAC and Lincoln Memorial is 28-12 overall and 15-3 in conference. 

In addition to the NCBWA national poll, the southeast region poll was also released. Newberry earned the No. 2 spot in the region, followed by Catawba at No. 3, Lincoln Memorial at No. 6 and Tusculum No. 8.
