Four SAC Teams Ranked in NCAA Southeast Region Baseball Poll

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The Newberry, Catawba, Lincoln Memorial and Wingate baseball teams earned spots in the latest NCAA Southeast Region Baseball poll, which was released by the NCAA on Wednesday (April 24). The Wolves earned the No. 2 spot in the poll, followed by the Indians at No. 4. The Railsplitters are ranked No. 6 and the Bulldogs earned the No. 7 spot.   

Newberry is currently 38-12 overall, while Catawba is 36-12. Lincoln Memorial has a record of 33-15 and Wingate is 29-16 overall.

The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Baseball Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.
