Cary, N.C.----The third-seeded and ninth-ranked Angelo State University Rams scored a run in five different innings Sunday afternoon, and stranded nine Bulldogs on base in a 6-2 victory in the opening round of the NCAA Division II baseball national championships in Cary. ASU improves to 43-7 overall, advancing to the winner's bracket Tuesday evening. The Bulldogs see their seven-game winning streak snapped, falling to 34-13 overall.
