Newberry's Heriot Named 2021 SAC Elite 20 Winner for Football

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Newberry defensive back Ryan Heriot was honored as the 2021 SAC Football Elite 20 Award winner on Saturday (Nov. 13).

This award honors the student-athlete with the top cumulative grade-point average (based on a minimum of 48 credit hours) in each of the league's 20 team championship sports.

Heriot, a senior from Fort Mill, S.C., has a 3.80 GPA while majoring in business.
