Six SAC Football Players Earn Associated Press All-American Honors
The 2021 Associated Press (AP) Division II All-American Football Teams were released on Wednesday (Dec. 15) with six players from the South Atlantic Conference earning first or second team honors.
Leading the way were first team selections McLean Robertson (kicker) from Wingate and Dwayne McGee (running back) from Lenoir-Rhyne.
Earning second team honors were Mars Hill tight end Ty Snelson, Wingate offensive lineman Andrew Strickland, Mars Hill defensive back Tristan Rankin, and Newberry defensive back Anthony Blue.
