Four SAC Football Teams Under Consideration in First NCAA Super Region 2 Ranking

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference posted three teams in the NCAA Super Region 2 Football  Rankings.  Lenoir-Rhyne, Newberry, Tusculum, and Wingate are all under consideration for this year's NCAA Super Region 2 Championship.

The 10 teams currently under consideration were not put in any rank order at this time. The teams will not be put in a rank order until next week's ranking.

Lenoir-Rhyne is currently 6-2 overall, while Newberry, Tusculum, and Wingate are all 7-1.

The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Football Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.
