Wingate and Limestone Advance to NCAA Division II Playoffs

ROCK HILL, S.C.  (theSAC.com) – The Wingate Bulldogs and the Limestone Saints will represent the South Atlantic Conference in the NCAA Division II Football Championship, the NCAA announced today.

The Bulldogs will travel to the No. 4 seed Virginia Union, while the Saints will head to the No. 3 seed West Florida. Both games will be played on Saturday, Nov. 19 at 1:00 p.m.

Wingate finished the regular season with a record of 9-2, while Limestone closed out the season with a record of 8-3 overall, winning their last four straight games.

The NCAA Division II Championship game will be played on December 17, at 1 p.m. Eastern time at McKinney ISD Stadium in McKinney, Texas, and will be broadcast live on ESPNU HD.
