Newberry Claims Field Hockey Regular Season Title; Tournament Bracket Announced
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference has announced the bracket for the 2025 SAC Field Hockey Championship, with Newberry claiming the regular season title and the No. 1 overall seed. The Wolves will host the semifinals and championship rounds on their home turf next weekend.
Newberry finished the regular season atop the standings to secure the league title and home-field advantage for the postseason. Belmont Abbey follows as the No. 2 seed after an impressive campaign, while Lander, Wingate, Converse, and Lincoln Memorial round out the six-team field.
The tournament begins with quarterfinal play on Tuesday, November 4, with all games hosted by the higher seeds and streamed live on FloSports.
