Men’s and Women’s Basketball Selection Show To Be Broadcast Over Internet

INDIANAPOLIS -- NCAA Division II and CSTV: College Sports Television have announced the Division II men's and women's basketball selection shows will be broadcast on broadband via www.NCAAsports.com/dii. The selection shows are set to air on Sunday, March 4 beginning at 10:30 p.m. (EST) in an in-house studio at the NCAA National office and will last approximately a half hour.

Division II and CSTV are in the first season of a multi-year television and broadband partnership that will showcase more than 70 live Division II regular-season basketball games.

The CSTV agreement, which runs through 2009, provides an amplified platform to highlight Division II contests and student-athlete accomplishments, while also promoting the intercollegiate athletics philosophy for Division II member institutions. There are more than 74,800 student-athletes competing at 290 NCAA Division II colleges and universities nationwide.
