Catawba’s Isaac Rose Named Men’s Basketball Player Of The Week
ROCK HILL, S.C. -- Catawba College's Isaac Rose was named the South Atlantic Conference Men's Basketball Player Of The Week, league officials announced today.
Rose, a senior forward from Jonesville, N.C., scored a career-high 24 points in leading Catawba to a 72-69 win over previously-unbeaten St. Augustine's Saturday at home.
The Furman University transfer and West Forsyth graduate also
made all 10 field goal attempts and pulled down a career-high eight
rebounds in the victory over the Falcons.
Rose converted on a key three-point play with under a minute to go in the contest to ice the win for Catawba as well.
The SAC Men's Basketball Player Of The Week is voted on by the league's sports information directors.
