LMU Still No. 1 In NCAA Men’s Basketball Region Rankings
INDIANAPOLIS - South Atlantic Conference leader Lincoln Memorial University continues to be ranked number one in the NCAA Division II Southeast Region rankings.
Lincoln Memorial is 22-0 overall and 14-0 in conference play. Against Division II opponents, the Railsplitters are 18-0 and are 17-0 against in-region DII opponents.
LMU is the only South Atlantic Conference team ranked in the top 10.
The regional rankings will be released weekly on Wednesdays through March 2, 2011.
Record are through Sunday, February 13.
Eight teams from each of the eight regions will advance to the NCAA Division II tournament. In the Southeast Region, the tournament champions from the SAC, Peach Belt, and Conference Carolinas will receive an automatic bid, with five more at-large selections.
