LMU, Anderson Ranked In NCAA Region Poll
INDIANAPOLIS - South Atlantic Conference leader Lincoln Memorial University moved up one spot to second in the final NCAA Division II Southeast Region rankings, while Anderson moved up to three spots to sixth.
Lincoln Memorial is 24-2 overall and 16-2 in conference play. Against Division II opponents, the Railsplitters are 20-2 and are 19-2 against in-region DII opponents.
Anderson, No. 9 last week, climbed to No. 6. The Trojans are 18-10 overall, with a 17-9 record against DII and in-region DII opponents.
Record are through Sunday, February 27.
Eight teams from each of the eight regions will advance to the NCAA Division II tournament. In the Southeast Region, the tournament champions from the SAC, Peach Belt, and Conference Carolinas will receive an automatic bid, with five more at-large selections.
