2011 Food Lion SAC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament Information

The 2011 Food Lion SAC Basketball Tournament will be held Wednesday, March 2 and Saturday-Sunday, March 5-6, 2011.

All quarterfinal rounds will be played at campus sites on Wednesday, March 2, with the higher-seeded teams being hosts. Winners of quarterfinal-round games advance to Hickory, NC, for the semifinals and finals on March 5-6. The Hickory games will be played at the Catawba Valley Community College Multipurpose Facility.

The tournament winner for men and women will receive an automatic berth into the NCAA Division II Basketball Championship Tournament.

Ticket Information

Individual Tickets on sale at the schools for quarterfinal rounds. Quarterfinal ticket prices are $6 for adults and $3 for students, college students with ID and children. Fans showing their Food Lion MVP card can receive $1 off the adult ticket price. ($5 with Food Lion MVP Card).

Tickets for the semifinals and championships will be on sale at the CVCC arena on the day of the games. Semifinals and Championship ticket prices are $10 per day (Adults); $5 per day (students, college students with ID and children). Fans showing their Food Lion MVP card can receive $1 off the adult ticket price. ($9 with Food Lion MVP Card).
