Anderson, LMU Set for Nationally Televised Showdown on CBS Sports Network

The game will also be simulcasted regionally in east Tennessee on Knoxville's WVLT Volunteer TV.
LMU, which was ranked 12th in the nation in this week's NABC poll, leads the SAC with an overall record of 9-1 entering Wednesday night's game at Mars Hill. The Railsplitters currently rank 10th in Division II with an average scoring margin of 17.7 points behind a defense that has allowed opponents to shoot just 38.9-percent on the season.
Anderson has once again been led in 2012-13 by defending SAC Player of the Year Denzail Jones, who leads the conference in scoring at 21.2 points per game. The 6-4 Trojans also average just 13.6 turnovers per game, which are the fewest in the league.

Anderson and Lincoln Memorial have amassed more wins than any other men's basketball programs in the SAC over the past two-plus seasons. LMU's 62 wins since the start of the 2010-11 season are the most in the conference, while Anderson is second with 53.
The two Anderson-LMU matchups in 2011-12 – in which AU went 2-0 -- were decided by a combined seven points.
The Trojans advanced to the NCAA Elite Eight in 2011 and finished one win shy of reaching the event again last season. Overall, AU has been selected to three-straight NCAA Tournaments.
LMU, meanwhile, has earned bids to the last two NCAA Tournaments, and reached the regional semifinal round in 2012.
CBS Sports Network is available to 99 million homes nationwide. In addition to the NCAA Division II basketball package, the network's content lineup includes studio coverage of the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship and programming from multiple Division I conferences.
Saturday will mark the SAC's second appearance on CBS Sports Network in 2012-13. The August football game between Wingate and Carson-Newman was also broadcast on the network.
