Anderson’s Hash, Coker’s Gardner Named to Capital One Academic All-District Men’s Basketball Team
Anderson senior Chandler Hash and Coker senior Jonathon Gardner have been named to the Capital One Academic All-District III Team, it was announced by CoSIDA. The distinction recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their performances on the court and in the classroom.
ROCK HILL, S.C. – Anderson senior Chandler Hash and Coker senior Jonathon Gardner have been named to the Capital One Academic All-District III Team, it was announced by CoSIDA. The distinction recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their performances on the court and in the classroom.
Hash and Gardner are among five student-athletes representing District III, which also includes schools from the Peach Belt and Conference Carolinas.
Hash carries a 3.51 GPA majoring in nursing, while Gardner has a 3.80 GPA majoring in physical education. Hash currently leads the SAC in scoring at 23.8 points per game, and Gardner averages 2.7 points 1.3 rebounds per game.
The Capital One Academic All-America Men's Basketball Team will be announced later this month.
