Lorenza Ross Selected to Participate in Reese's Division II All-Star Game on Friday in Evansville
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Lincoln Memorial University senior guard Lorenza Ross (Savannah, Ga.) has been selected to participate in the 2015 Reese's Division II College All-Star game in Evansville, Ind. on Friday in conjunction with the NCAA Division II Elite Eight, it was announced by the National Association of Basketball (NABC). The Division II All-Star game will be held at the Ford Center at 7 p.m.
The Reese's Division II All-Star game rosters are composed of two seniors from each of the nation's eight regions as well as four at-large selections, as chosen by the NABC. Ross joins Montevallo's Troran Brown in representing the Southeast region.
It marks the second straight season in which a member of the Lincoln Memorial men's basketball team has been selected to compete in the Division II All-Star game, as Vincent Bailey earned an invitation to the 2014 game.
Ross, the South Atlantic Conference Player of the Year, Daktronics All-Southeast Region first team selection and NABC All-Southeast Region first team pick, helped the Railsplitters set the SAC single-season record for wins and winning percentage with a 30-3 overall mark. Lincoln Memorial became the first program in league history to win three straight outright SAC regular season titles, appeared in its third straight SAC tournament championship and made a fourth consecutive appearance in the NCAA tournament's round of 32.

He registered double figures in 25 of his 32 appearances, including a season-high 20 points in a blowout of North Greenville in the opening round of the NCAA tournament. He broke the program's single-game record for assists when he handed out 14 in a win over Anderson, and he finished with 11 assists in two other games.
Ross dished out 176 assists this season, which is the eighth-most in the school's single-season history. Ross completes his tenure in the Blue and Gray ranked fourth all-time with 441 career assists. He has finished with the 20th-most career points in program history with 1,143. While finishing with the second-most games played in school history (122), Ross was a part of three SAC regular season championship, one tournament title, and four NCAA tournament appearances. The Railsplitters were ranked nationally for every week of his career, extending the fourth-longest streak of consecutive weeks ranked to 73.
The Railsplitters finished with a 109-18 record during Ross's career, which is the winningest four-year stretch in SAC history.
