NCAA D-II Men's Basketball Regional Rankings 

 

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference posted four teams in the NCAA Southeast Regional Men's Basketball Rankings, the NCAA announced today.  Lincoln Memorial came in at the No. 1 position, while Queens earned the No. 2 spot.  Wingate is currently No. 4 in the region and Lenoir-Rhyne wraps up the list for the South Atlantic Conference at No. 7.

 

The Railsplitters are currently ranked No. 4 in the nation by the National Basketball Coaches Association (NABC) and sport a record of 20-2 overall. 

 

Queens is also ranked in the top 10 by the NABC as the Royal are currently No. 6 in Division II.  Queens is 21-2 on the 2015-16 season.

 

Wingate is currently 17-7 on the year, while Lenoir-Rhyne is 16-7 this season.

 

The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.
