Tusculum's Donaldson Named South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Men's Basketball Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Tusculum guard Donovan Donaldson has been named the South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played January 14 through January 20, the Conference announced today.

Donaldson, a senior from Nashville, Tenn., led the Pioneers to a 2-0 record last week with wins over Carson-Newman and Wingate. He scored 17 points with 17 rebounds in the 63-49 win over Carson-Newman. He then poured in a career-high 32 points with three rebounds, three assists and three steals in the Pioneer's 80-77 overtime win against Wingate. For the week, Donaldson averaged 24.5 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and 1.5 steals.

This is Donaldson's first Player of the Week selection this season.
