Bears Defeat No. 7 Queens for Second Time to Advance to First SAC Championship Since 2005
GREENVILLE, S.C. – The historic season continues for the Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Basketball Team who beat No. 7 Queens for the second time this season to advance to the program's first South Atlantic Conference Tournament Championship since 2005. The Bears haven't beat Queens twice in the same season since 2008 but accomplished that feat with a statement win in the SAC Semifinal by the final score of 83-68. FULL RECAP
Catawba Tops Wingate, Advances to SAC Tournament Final
GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Catawba advanced to the Pilot Flying J South Atlantic Conference Men's Basketball Tournament championship game for the first time since 2010 with a 76-74 win over Wingate in Saturday's semifinals at Timmons Arena on the campus of Furman University. The win improves the Catawba Indians to 23-7 on the year and bolsters its chances to qualify for the NCAA Regionals. The Bulldogs, seeded sixth, end their season at 17-13. FULL RECAP
