Lincoln Memorial's McCauley Named South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Men's Basketball Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Lincoln Memorial guard Courvoisier McCauley has been named the South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played during week nine of the 2019-20 season, the Conference announced today.

McCauley, a sophomore from Indianapolis, Ind., led the No. 3 Railsplitters to a perfect 2-0 week with SAC wins over UVa-Wise and No. 22 Catawba. The victories extended the Lincoln Memorial winning streak to a nation-leading 15 games. He started the week with a double-double performance versus UVa-Wise, scoring 23 points with 11 rebounds, while adding three assists, two steals and a pair of blocks to his stat line. He then poured in 29 points with five rebounds, an assist and a steal against Catawba. For the week, McCauley averaged 26 points, eight rebounds, two assists, 1.5 steals, a block, and shot 58.1 percent from the field, 46.7 percent from three-point range and 81.8 percent from the charity stripe.

This is McCauley's second player of the week selection this season.
