Anderson's Nottingham Named South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Men's Basketball Player of the Week
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Anderson guard Quin Nottingham has been named the South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played during week twelve of the 2019-20 season, the Conference announced today.
Nottingham, a junior from Champaign, Ill., was instrumental in helping lead the Trojans to a pair of league victories last week and extend their winning streak to four games. He scored 22 points and hauled in eight rebounds in Anderson's 86-82 win over Queens, and poured in 28 points, including a game-winning 75-foot buzzer-beater, with six rebounds to defeat Carson-Newman 75-72. For the week Nottingham averaged 25 points with seven rebounds and 2.5 steals, shooting 45.2 percent from the field and 83.3 percent from the free-throw line. He currently leads the SAC in scoring at 20.8 points per game.
This is Nottingham's first player of the week selection this season.
