Lincoln Memorial, Queens, Catawba, and Tusculum Ranked in NCAA Southeast Region Men's Basketball Poll
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference had four schools ranked in the latest NCAA Southeast Region Men's Basketball poll, which was released by the NCAA on Wednesday (Feb. 26). Lincoln Memorial earned the No. 1 spot in the poll, followed by Queens at No. 3, Catawba at No. 4 and Tusculum came in at No. 9.
In addition to the four SAC schools ranked in this week's poll, there are four schools from the Peach Belt and two from Conference Carolinas.
The Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters earned the top spot in the ranking with a record of 27-1 overall. The Railsplitters are currently riding a program and SAC record 27-game winning streak dating back to November 2, 2019.
Queens has an overall record of 20-6, and the Royals have won six games in a row. Catawba has a record of 18-8 overall.
Tusculum's record is 18-10 overall, and the Pioneers have won their last four consecutive games.
The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.
