Lincoln Memorial's Rankin Named South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Men's Basketball Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Lincoln Memorial guard Chase Rankin has been named the South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played during week 12 of the 2021-22 season, the Conference announced today. 

Rankin, a junior from Columbus, Ohio, led the No. 16 Railsplitters to a pair of SAC victories over Carson-Newman (73-57) and Wingate (102-84). He scored 13 points with seven rebounds and five assists against the Eagles, while posting a double-double of 13 points and 12 assists versus Wingate with eight rebounds. For the week Rankin averaged 13 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 8.5 assists.

This is Rankin's first player of the week selection this season.
