ROCK HILL, S.C. – Queens' Saturday victory over Wingate has resulted in Royals' attacker Garrett Chan and goalkeeper Eric Dolan being named the SAC Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week.
SAC Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week | Garrett Chan, Queens
Chan led Queens with five goals on Saturday, guiding the Royals to a 13-12 conference win over Wingate. The sophomore connected on half of his 10 shots in the match – including three first-quarter goals - along with picking up a ground ball.
Chan's 16 goals this season are currently tied for 11th in the conference, while his 34 shots-on-goal rank sixth in the league.
SAC Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week | Eric Dolan, Queens
Dolan made 21 saves in the net for the Royals against Wingate, stopping 63.6-percent of the Bulldogs' shots-on-goal in the match. He also recorded five ground balls in the victory.
Dolan now ranks sixth in the SAC with 78 saves and sixth in goals-against average at 10.70.
