The South Atlantic Conference Announces AstroTurf Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week
Lincoln Memorial midfielder Adam Golia has been named the South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week and Lenoir-Rhyne goalie Ryan Crompton has been named the South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Men’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week for games played Feb. 1-Feb. 4, the League announced today.
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Lincoln Memorial midfielder Adam Golia has been named the South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week and Lenoir-Rhyne goalie Ryan Crompton has been named the South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week for games played Feb. 1-Feb. 4, the League announced today.
Golia, a senior from Victoria, British Columbia, led the Railsplitters to a 16-9 win over Hampton to start the season last week. He found the back of the net five times and assisted on four other goals for nine total points. He also picked up a ground ball and caused a turnover.
Crompton, a senior from Frederick, Md., allowed just three goals with four saves and earned the win for the Bears in goal against Young Harris. He had a 57.1 save percentage in the game, and he is now second all-time at Lenoir-Rhyne in career saves with 304.
These are the first Player of the Week selections for both Golia and Crompton this season.
