The South Atlantic Conference Announces Seeds for 2018 Men's Lacrosse Championship
Lenoir-Rhyne won its third-straight South Atlantic Conference Regular Season Men’s Lacrosse Championship after closing out the regular season with an 8-0 record in SAC play.
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Lenoir-Rhyne won its third-straight South Atlantic Conference Regular Season Men's Lacrosse Championship after closing out the regular season with an 8-0 record in SAC play. With the title, the Bears have earned the No. 1 seed in next week's South Atlantic Conference Men's Lacrosse Championship.
Wingate finished the SAC portion of its schedule with a 7-1 record to earn the No. 2 seed. Lincoln Memorial earned the No. 3 seed with a conference record of 6-2, while Queens closed out its conference schedule at 5-3 to take the No. 4 seed. Rounding out field is Catawba at the No. 5 seed with a record of 4-4, and the No. 6 seed Coker with a SAC record of 3-5.
Lenoir-Rhyne and Wingate each earned a bye to semifinals. The quarterfinals will be played on Tuesday, April 24 at campus sites with the semifinals and finals taking place at Wingate University's Graham Gill Field in Wingate, N.C. on April 27 and 29. The tournament schedule is listed below:
