Wingate and Queens Men's Lacrosse Ranked Nationally in Latest Polls

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) released their week four coaches poll with two SAC men's teams making the top-20. Queens was ranked No. 16 and Wingate rose to No. 18. US Lacrosse Magazine also announced their Nike/US Lacrosse rankings on Monday (Mar. 4). The Bulldogs joined the rankings at No. 17, while the Royals remained in the poll, dropping to No. 18.

The Bulldogs (3-1, 0-0 SAC) collected SAC AstroTurf Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week with Mike DiLegge after routing Palm Beach Atlantic 17-3. Their only loss came in their second game at the hands of nationally-ranked Mercyhurst.

The Royals (3-1, 0-0 SAC) suffered their first loss of the season this week at the hands of nationally-ranked Limestone in a tightly contested matchup (10-9).
