The South Atlantic Conference Announces AstroTurf Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week Honors
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its AstroTurf Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week for games played during March 4 through March 10. Tusculum garnered offensive honors with Keegan Bell, while Coker collected the defensive honors with Chris Hagy.
A senior midfielder, Bell had a pair of six-goal outings as the Pioneers extended their win streak to five, including a SAC victory over Mars Hill. The Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada native also had a pair of assists in the Barton matchup, while in the Mars Hill win, he became the fifth player in program history to reach 100 career points. This is Bell's first Offensive Player of the Week honor of the season.
A sophomore goalkeeper, Hagy had 16 saves in the SAC road win at Lincoln Memorial, holding the Railsplitters to just seven goals. The Bel Air, Md. native also added a ground ball in the 10-7 victory. This is Hagy's first Defensive Player of the Week honor of the season.
