Queens' Barry Named 2019 SAC Men's Lacrosse Elite 20 Winner

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Queens sophomore Kevin Barry was honored as the 2019 Elite 20 Award winner for men's lacrosse, presented by the South Atlantic Conference on Friday, April 26.

This award honors the student-athlete with the top cumulative grade-point average (based on a minimum of 48 credit hours) in each of the league's 20 team championship sports.

Barry, a sophomore midfielder from Raleigh, N.C., has a 3.863 GPA while majoring in accounting and finance, completing 72 credit hours.

Heading into the championship weekend, Barry has played in all 15 games, recording 10 goals and seven assists on the offensive end.
