Wingate and Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Lacrosse Ranked Nationally in USILA Coaches Preseason Top-20 Poll
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) released their 2020 coaches preseason poll with two SAC men's teams making the top-20. Wingate, regular season and SAC tournament champions is ranked at No. 12 and Lenoir-Rhyne comes in strong at No. 15.
The Bulldogs (13-4, 7-1 SAC), are back at this weekend after winning its first-ever regular season SAC title last spring. The Bulldogs then went on to earn their third consecutive SAC Tournament Championship paving the way to an NCAA Tournament appearance for the third time in program history.
The Bears (8-8, 4-2 SAC), finished fourth in the SAC regular season after falling to Wingate in the SAC Semifinal match.
Both the Bulldogs and Bears will kick off their 2020 seasons this weekend.
