The South Atlantic Conference Announces Astroturf Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week Honors

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its AstroTurf Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week for games played during the opening weekend of the 2020 season.  Coker garnered offensive honors with Joe Venazio, while Queens collected the defensive honors with Kyle Hornik.

A sophomore attacker, Venazio led the Cobras to a 20-7 win over Lees-McRae with six goals and five assists.  The Myrtle Beach, S.C., native also had five ground balls and two caused turnovers. This is Venazio's first Offensive Player of the Week honor of the season.

A senior goalkeeper, Hornik had 15 saves in their win over Lynn, holding the Knights to just seven goals in the 12-7 victory. This is Hornik's first Defensive Player of the Week honor of the season.
