Lenoir-Rhyne Sweeps Astroturf Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week Honors for the Second Week in a Row
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its AstroTurf Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week for games played during the sixth weekend of the 2020 season. Lenoir-Rhyne's Bryce Reece garnered the offensive honors, and Noah Johnson collected the defensive honors.
A sophomore midfielder, Reece led the Bears to an 18-16 win over No. 1 ranked Limestone this past weekend. The Mt. Laurel, N.J., native netted a career-high five points and three assists, with Reece's second goal tying the game leading to a 5-0 scoring run late in the fourth to secure the win. This is Reece's first Offensive Player of the Week honor of the season.
A sophomore goalie Johnson, had 16 saves against the Saints and the second-most saves in a game this season. This is Johnson's first Defensive Player of the Week honor of the season.
