The South Atlantic Conference Announces Astroturf Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week Honors

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its AstroTurf Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week for games played during the eleventh weekend of the 2021 season. Limestone's Owen Consoletti garnered the offensive honor while Lenoir-Rhyne' Ben Jauch collected the defensive honor.

A junior attacker from Thousand Oaks, Calif., Consoletti helped the Saints to a win over non-conference opponent Belmont Abbey this past weekend. He tallied six points on five goals, while also adding five ground balls, three caused turnovers and one assist. This is Consoletti's first Offensive Player of the Week honor of the season.

A senior defender, Jauch, was instrumental in securing the Bears huge 27-8 win over Mars Hill this past week. Overall, the Forest, Va., native tallied three ground balls, four caused turnovers, one assist and one point on the night. This is Jauch's first Defensive Player of the Week honor of the season.
