Queens Sweeps South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its AstroTurf Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week for games played during the first weekend of the 2022 season. Queens' Kealan Pilon garnered the offensive honor while teammate William Powley collected the defensive honor.

A senior attacker from Ontario, Canada, Pilon helped the Royals to a win over non-conference opponent Lees-McRae this past weekend. He tallied eight points on four goals, while also adding three ground balls and four assists. This is Pilon's first Offensive Player of the Week honor of the season.

A junior goalie, Powley, was instrumental in securing the Royals huge 21-5 win over Lees-McRae this past weekend. Overall, the Port Moody, B.C., Canada native tallied nine saves between the posts with a 75.0 save percentage. This is Powley's first Defensive Player of the Week honor of the season.
