The South Atlantic Conference Announces Astroturf Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week Honors
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its AstroTurf Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week for games played during the third weekend of the 2022 season. Tusculum's Nate Raymond garnered the offensive honor while Anderson's Cam Weeks collected the defensive honor.
A senior attacker from Tracey's Landing, Md., Raymond, helped the Pioneers to a win over non-conference opponents Lees-McRae and Emmanuel this past weekend. Overall, he tallied 20 points on 14 goals, while also adding two ground balls and six assists. This is Raymond's first Offensive Player of the Week honor of the season.
A sophomore forward, Weeks, was instrumental in securing two huge wins over Young Harris and Barton this past weekend for the Trojans. Overall, the Mt. Pleasant, S.C., native tallied 39 groundballs while also going 46-for-51 on his face-off attempts. This is Weeks' first Defensive Player of the Week honor of the season.
