The South Atlantic Conference Announces Astroturf Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week Honors

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its AstroTurf Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week for games played during the fourth weekend of the 2022 season. Anderson's Beau Henson garnered the offensive honor while Tusculum's Ross Geiger collected the defensive honor.

A senior attacker from Woodstock, Ga., Henson, helped the Trojans to a win over non-conference opponents North Greenville and Embry-Riddle this past weekend. Overall, he tallied 12 points on nine goals, while also adding one ground ball and three assists. This is Henson's first Offensive Player of the Week honor of the season.

A senior goalie, Geiger, was instrumental in securing a huge win over Alabama Huntsville this past weekend for the Pioneers. Overall, the Calgary, Alta., native spent 58 minutes between the posts with 20 saves for a 69.0nsave percentage. This is Geiger's first Defensive Player of the Week honor of the season.
