Tape's Late Goal Sends LR to NCAA Quarterfinals
HICKORY, N.C.-- With 46 seconds left in regulation, Dylan Stapetook a pass from Colten McCracken and found the back of the net to break a 10-10 tie and send Lenoir-Rhyne on to the National Quarterfinal for the second straight year and the third time in program history. The goal was just Stape's fourth of the season 13th of his career as a short stick midfielder but one that will go down in LR Men's Lacrosse lore. READ MORE
Wingate outscores Lindenwood 12-3 in the 2nd half in a 20-11 victory in the NCAA Tourney opener
ST. CHARLES MO. --Wingate opened NCAA Tournament play in Missouri, taking on Lindenwood earlier this evening. After the first half the Bulldogs and Lions were tied 8-8. The Bulldogs went on to score six goals to Lindenwood's one in the third quarter. In the final quarter the Bulldogs ran away with the game outscoring the Lions 6-2 and claiming the eventual 20-11 win. READ MORE
