Three Former SAC Men's Lacrosse Players Drafted in National Lacrosse League
Three former student-athletes representing two South Atlantic Conference institutions were drafted in the 2022 National Lacrosse League (NLL) entry draft last week.
Limestone's Trent Keller and Carter Brand, in addition to Newberry's Zachary Sunderland were drafted.
Kellner was picked in the fourth round with the 63rd overall pick by the Vancouver Warriors while Brand was taken in the sixth round with the 95th overall pick by the Saskatchewan Rush. They each join a rich history of Saints taken in the NLL draft, becoming the 19th and 20th Limestone players, respectively, to be selected.
