Anderson Sweeps South Atlantic Conference Varsity Gems Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its Varsity Gems Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week for games played in the third week of the 2023 season. Anderson swept the awards for the second week in a row, as Logan Gaddis was named the offensive player of the week, Chase Robertson was named the defensive player of the week, and Cam Weeks was named the specialist of the week.

Gaddis, a junior attacker from Norcross, Ga., had 12 points on the week in the two wins over Lees-McRae and Young Harris. He recorded four goals in the win over Lees-McRae and five assists versus Young Harris. Gaddis picked up two ground balls and also caused a turnover. 

Robertson, a sophomore defender from Roanoke, VA, caused four turnovers this week in the wins over Lees-McRae and Young Harris while picking up six ground balls and one assist. 

Weeks, a junior faceoff specialist from Mt. Pleasant, S.C., won 14 of his 15 faceoff attempts while picking up 11 ground balls in the 22-5 win over Lees-McRae.
