The South Atlantic Conference Announces WePlayed Sports Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its WePlayed Sports Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week for games played during the sixth week of the 2024 season. Limestone's Zach Terry was named the Offensive Player of the Week while Coker's Lennon Connolly was named the Defensive Player of the Week and Newberry's Ryan Erler was named the Specialist Player of the Week.

Terry, a junior from Tega Cay, S.C., was a key player for the Saints this week. He scored three goals, including the game-winner, in the 10-9 upset of No. 1 Lenoir-Rhyne.

Connolly, a sophomore from Dacula, Ga., led the Cobras defensively to a 12-11 win over Lincoln Memorial on Friday. He recorded seven ground balls and seven caused turnovers in the victory.

Erler, a graduate student from Smithtown, N.Y., stopped 10 of 19 shots faced versus No. 6 Indianapolis in a 14-9 win on Saturday. Erler also caused a turnover in the game.
