The South Atlantic Conference Announces WePlayed Sports Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its WePlayed Sports Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week for games played during the eighth week of the 2024 season. Anderson's Logan Gaddis was named the Offensive Player of the Week, Limestone's Dylan Witt was named the Defensive Player of the Week, and Catawba's James Crighton was named the Specialist Player of the Week.

Gaddis, a senior from Norcross, Ga., scored six goals from nine shots on goal and recorded five assists on the week. He also caused two turnovers and won three ground balls in Anderson's 2-0 week against Tusculum (29-11) and Coker (12-5).

Witt, a graduate student from Lawrenceville, Ga., guided No. 1 Limestone to a 20-12 win at No. 9 Newberry. He anchored the defense with five caused turnovers and five ground balls.

Crighton, a graduate student from Palm City, Fla., recorded 16 saves to lead Catawba to a 12-9 defensive win at Lincoln Memorial. The Catawba Indians improve to 3-2 in SAC play, already surpassing their win total in conference play from last season before April.
