Four SAC Men's Lacrosse Programs Ranked in USILA Coaches Poll
ROCK HILL, S.C. (thesac.com) - Four SAC programs were named among the USILA Top 20 schools, released Monday (April 1).
Limestone remains at No. 1 with 20 first-place votes following a 19-12 win over Anderson on Wednesday as the Saints pushed their win streak to 12-0 overall and 6-0 in conference play.
Lenoir-Rhyne also held steady from last week, remaining in the No. 2 position following a 15-10 win over Newberry this past weekend. The Bears claimed the only other first-place vote in this week's edition.
Wingate took the No. 7 spot in this week's poll after posting two SAC wins against Catawba and Lincoln Memorial to improve to 8-3 overall and 5-1 in the SAC.
Newberry rounded out the SAC at No. 9 as the Wolves split the week with a 21-4 win against Coker and a 10-15 loss to No. 2 Lenoir-Rhyne. They currently hold an 8-3 overall, 3-3 SAC record.
