The South Atlantic Conference Announces WePlayed Sports Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its WePlayed Sports Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week for games played during the eleventh week of the 2024 season. Limestone's Carter Brand was named the Offensive Player of the Week, Lenoir-Rhyne's Nate Ashley was named the Defensive Player of the Week, and Limestone's Tim Ladner was named the Specialist Player of the Week.

Brand, a senior from Ottawa, Ontario, posted a game-high four goals in Limestone's 17-14 win at Wingate. He also added three ground balls in the contest.

Ashley, a senior from Bradenton, Fla., recorded multiple season-highs this past week as Lenoir-Rhyne defeated Coker 14-4. He added four ground balls and four caused turnovers in the victory.

Ladner, a senior from Sandwich, Mass., went 21-of-32 at the faceoff in No. 1 Limestone's 17-14 win at No. 7 Wingate. He also picked up a game-high 13 ground balls.
