Carson-Newman, Catawba, Tusculum Ranked In Preseason Men’s Soccer Poll
The Carson-Newman men's soccer team, which advanced to the NCAA DII quarterfinals last year, is ranked sixth in the NSCAA/adidas Division II preseason poll.
Carson-Newman is one of three South Atlantic Conference teams to make the preseason poll. Catawba College starts out the season ranked 15th. Tusculum College is ranked 22nd.
The 2006 season begins Thursday with three of the league's teams in action.
